A Glimmer of Hope Foundation will be our charitable spotlight for our June business networking mixer. A Glimmer of Hope Foundation’s aim is to provide services, programs, research, and technology that prevents breast cancer from advancing. Through fundraising events and the generous support of many people, businesses, sports celebrities and sports organization, 6.5 million dollars for breast cancer projects has been donated to Allegheny Health Network (AHN), UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital, Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. A Glimmer of Hope Foundation has received tremendous support because of the transparency of the programs it supports. Along with the satisfaction people receive from seeing their contributions at work, and the knowledge that the funds raised stay in the Pittsburgh area.
