DESCRIPTION:Beginning in the fall of 2019\, Splatter Me Crazy was brought to life by a group of women looking to support the community through art. They began brainstorming after the Pittsburgh Business Show and the first Splatter Me Crazy was brought to life a few months later at the Flashlight Factory. The evening was full of laughter\, art\, and most importantly philanthropy. Participants made donations to be given brushes and paint to be able to splatter paint our volunteers. At the end of the evening\, Dominique took fine art portraits of the volunteers covered in paint. \nBrought back by Dominique Murray Photography for 2023\, Splatter Me Crazy is giving back to The Magic Yarn Project\, Breast Cancer Research\, and Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation. \nGet your tickets at the link below. Register now to secure your spot and be part of this exciting event! \nAugust’s Speaker is James Kuzak Jr. \nOn April 4th\, 2011\, Officer James Kuzak Jr. of the City of Clairton Police Department\, PA.\, was ambushed responding to a home invasion. He was shot five times and subsequently paralyzed from the waist down. At the time of the shooting\, Jim had been an 18-year veteran officer in Washington County\, Pennsylvania. Serving nine years as a narcotics detective for the Washington County District Attorney’s Office. Certified Defensive Tactics Instructor through PPCT and the FBI Defensive Tactics Program. 2004 graduate of Point Park University\, B.S. Administration of Criminal Justice. Featured in the documentary “Heroes Behind The Badge – Sacrifice and Survival”. Jim is currently a sponsored shooter for Team Glock\, serving as an ambassador for the Glock Brand. Motivational speaker to numerous Police Academy and dispatcher classes as well as civilian groups. In his free time\, he and his fiancé Cris enjoy spending time with their German Shepherd dogs doing competitive dock diving and K-9-aided Search & Rescue.

DESCRIPTION:These luncheons have it all\, delectable cuisine\, a fun environment\, tons of inspiration and networking\, and always some fun surprises and give-a-ways!\nOur July Luncheon is going to be really special because we are having a Panel of 4 Speakers who are going to share their story/experience/journey of Entrepreneurship\, Business Ownership\, Start up\, Resilience\, Set backs and Successes!\nThe Panel consists of Carmen Jordan\, Dominique Murray\, Dionne Malush and Becca Carl.\nCarmen Jordan is a mother\, grandmother\, business owner\, entrepreneur\, public speaker\, and people lover. Her mission is to inspire and uplift folks globally. As a public speaker\, domestic abuse survivor\, business owner\, and CEO\, she has developed a passion to speak and inspire through her own life experiences and overcoming obstacles.\nDominique Murray has been photographing for as long as she can remember. It started on her phone and grew into her career! Upon graduation from college\, Dominique jumped straight into the entrepreneurial world and opened her photography business and studio which is currently located in the South Side of Pittsburgh. She pours her heart and soul in to her photography work and giving back to the community. Creating an immersive and magical experience\, she focuses on photographing personal branding and headshots to help business owners have the materials they need to create a strong marketing and media presence.\nDionne Malush is the co-owner of Realty ONE Group Gold Standard\, the fastest growing real estate company in Pittsburgh. She has been a listing and marketing specialist since 2004. With a creative background (over 32 years as a professional graphic designer)\, she has been able to climb to the top in her market utilizing her artistic ability. It is her goal to affect someone’s life every day in a positive way and she does just that at Gold Standard. Her hobbies included reading and mindset/personal development training.\nBecca Carl has spent nearly all of her 25-year career in beauty. On Aug. 4\, she took ownership of Vintage Grace Boutique\, marking her first venture into the clothing boutique business. While different from cosmetics\, she believes clothing and accessories are another extension of beauty and a way she can positively impact women. For the past ten years\, she was a general manager for Ulta Beauty. Women from their 20s through 70s and beyond who want something unique that sets them apart will find something at Vintage Grace. She also has monthly events including a pop-up with a book store\, a florist and other charity events.\nWe also will be learning about our next Quarterly Charity Living in Liberty and Thank you to our Next Quarterly Charity Partner\, Assisted Living Locators North Pittsburgh\, and PEEL Member\, Jennifer Thayer. Plus\, our S.A.S for July is Splatter Me Crazy! \nWe are hosting these luncheons at a new venue\, Gaetanos Event Center! They are open to both PEEL Members and Non Members\, but it is more economical as a member and our members have the opportunity to be spotlighted during the luncheon and on all PEEL media for the month.
