Both restaurants will be closed for this very special event as we reflect on YASU’s journey\, announce future plans\, and present Dr. Mounzer Agha with the Shining Star Award. \nAfter launching YASU on March 1\, 2020\, surviving the pandemic\, and since then becoming a nationally recognized organization for the young adult cancer population (18-45 years old when diagnosed) and their loved ones\, it’s time to celebrate our 5 year anniversary!! \n\n125 tickets\n$125/each\nIncludes steak on a stone\, shrimp on a stone\, or stuffed portobello mushroom with a side salad and dessert\n\nReception AT MIKE’S BEER BAR (5:30-6:30 PM)\nWe’re kicking off the night with a reception at Mike’s Beer Bar: Hors d’oeuvres\, live band\, auction\, cash bar\, and a special ceremony to reflect on YASU’s journey. \nSHINING STAR AWARD will be presented to: \nDr. Mounzer Agha\, the director of the Mario Lemieux Center for Blood Cancers at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center\, and the clinical director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation of UPMC. \nDr. Agha was Stephanie’s (YASU founder) oncologist when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2005.
