Gaetano’s, located at 1617 BANKSVILLE ROAD, PITTSBURGH, PA 15216, this event is designed to bring together Pittsburgh’s finest female leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Whether you’re an established leader or an emerging talent, this is the perfect opportunity to connect, learn, and grow.
It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that our dear friend and inspiring leader, MJ Callaway, has passed away. MJ touched the lives of so many with her resilience, positivity, and unwavering commitment to helping others. Her legacy as a transformative speaker, mentor, and advocate for personal and professional growth will live on in the countless people she impacted.
MJ’s light shone brightly in all she did, and she was a cherished part of our community. While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the profound impact she made and the strength she displayed in all aspects of her life.
We know MJ’s spirit will continue to inspire us, and we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the lessons she so generously shared with us. Her legacy will forever be a reminder of the power of kindness, strength, and positivity.
In honor of MJ and her wishes, her dear friend Bonny Diver will be stepping in as the speaker at our upcoming event. Bonny and MJ shared a special bond, and we know that this is what MJ would have wanted—to have her friend carry forward her message of resilience and hope. We look forward to celebrating MJ’s incredible legacy and spirit together, with Bonny’s heartfelt words guiding us through this meaningful tribute.
In addition to honoring MJ’s legacy with Bonny Diver as our speaker, we are inviting all who knew MJ to be part of something special. If you have any photos, MJ-isms, or sentiments you’d like to share, please send them to me via email or through Facebook Messenger (by November 1st). We are creating a heartfelt tribute to share at the Ladies Luncheon on November 5th, and there will also be a special MJ Table where you can contribute any memories or tokens to honor her.
We’d love to see a huge outpouring of love and support for MJ—let’s come together to celebrate her beautiful life. If you’re able to join us, we encourage everyone to wear something purple, MJ’s signature color and a symbol of her vibrant spirit.
As always, PEEL welcomes all. You don’t have to be a member to attend—you just have to be kind. Let’s fill the room with love and light, just as MJ would have wanted. We hope to see you there for this very special tribute.
